43 students returning from Indonesia infected with Covid-19, detected at KLIA

The Health Ministry managed to contain a new cluster of Covid-19 infection at the country's entry point involving 43 Malaysian students returning from Indonesia, said Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.<br /><br />"A new cluster was detected at our international entry point where positive cases were found among Malaysians returning from Indonesia through Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) on April 16.<br /><br />"This cluster involved 43 students who returned from Temboro, which is one of the areas declared as a red zone in the district of Magetan, Indonesia.<br /><br />"Of the total, 34 were quarantined in Malacca and nine were quarantined in the Federal Territories," he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.<br />https://www.malaysiakini.com/news/521462
