Activist group Eliminating Deaths and Abuse in Custody Together (Edict) has urged the government to reconsider opening temporary prisons to hold movement control order offenders.<br /><br />The group said, temporary prisons are a waste of taxpayer funds besides possibly allowing the spread of Covid-19.
