<br />Malaysia today recorded 36 new Covid-19 cases, the lowest since the implementation of the movement control order (MCO) on March 18.<br /><br />This brings the total infections to 5,425, according to Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.<br /><br />"This is among the lowest number of daily cases," he told a press conference in Putrajaya today.<br /><br />Noor Hisham also reported that there were no deaths today, the first time since March 20. This means the death toll remains at 89.<br /><br />He also announced that another 98 patients have recovered from Covid-19 and discharged from the hospital.<br /><br />As such, a total of 3,295 patients have recovered, or 60.7 percent of total cases.
