Dermatologist Sandra Lee, better known as Dr. Pimple Popper has fans tuned in to youtube for a new kind of video.<br />In the video, Dr. Lee discusses the early, potential skin symptoms associated with COVID-19.<br />Anecdotal reports and some research has led some doctors to believe that COVID-19 may affect the skin.<br />"It's common to get a rash from a viral illness," Lee explained to Allure.<br />Doctors say various types of rashes could be associated with the virus, from hives to bumps similar to chickenpox.<br />Doctors caution that more research is needed to determine a correlation between COVID-19 and rashes.
