A car flew over an overpass and smashed into a wall after the driver pressed the accelerator by mistake in central China.<br /><br />The terrifying video, shot in the city of Xuchang in Henan Province on March 31, shows a black car suddenly flying into a wall.<br /><br />Another clip shows several passersby pulling the trapped driver out of the car and the driver ran away before the police arrived.<br /><br />According to reports, the driver accidentally pressed the accelerator instead of the brake when he tried to avoid a cat. <br /><br />Fortunately, the driver only suffered minor injuries.<br /><br />He finally surrendered himself to the police station. Police fined him 1,000yuan (£114) and deducted 12 points from his licence.
