Senator Lindsey Graham: Georgia's Reopening Is "Too fast Too Soon'

According to Business Insider, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina warned that Georgia's plan to partially re-open its economy on Friday may be "too fast."<br />Georgia has over 20,000 COVID-19 cases, over 3,800 patients hospitalized, and 818 deaths as of Tuesday. <br />They reported over 1,200 new coronavirus cases on Monday alone. <br />Graham tweeted "We respect Georgia's right to determine its own fate, but we are all in this together...What happens in Georgia will impact us in South Carolina." <br />Graham supports South Carolina Governor, Henry McMaster's plan for a small reopening of their state's economy, with a focus on social distancing.<br />But, he added, "I worry that our friends and neighbors in Georgia are going too fast too soon." <br />Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp has approved for businesses like hair and nail salons, bowling alleys, and gyms to re-open on Friday. Georgia restaurants and movie theaters are slated to open on Monday.
