UPI reports more Americans have attempted suicide in recent years -- and increasing numbers have 'succeeded.'<br />The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say there were more than 1.2 million suicide attempts between 2006 and 2015.<br />There was also a 10% increase in incidents of people attempting suicide in the United States over the 10-year period.<br />In addition, the fatality rate from these incidents increased by 13% during the last decade.<br />The CDC says that figure suggests people may be choosing more "lethal" means in the attempts.
