美CDC, FDA "올겨울 2차 유행 가능성 확인... 하지만 지금처럼 심각하지는 않을것"<br /><br />U.S. health experts are warning the United States could be battling COVID-19 for the rest of the year.<br />The possibility of a second wave of COVID-19 hitting in the winter was raised by the commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, Stephen Hahn.<br />The director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Robert Redfield, also said the situation could get "more difficult, more complicated" since two respiratory illnesses COVID-19 and the flu will be circulating at the same time.<br />Downplaying earlier reports quoting him directly, Redfield said a second wave would probably not be as dire as now due to a greater understanding of how the virus spreads.<br />
