US woman catches diamondback water snake with her bare hands

A brave woman used her bare hands to rescue a snake that has wandered inside their neighbourhood.<br /><br />Britany Dufresne, 26, and her boyfriend Joshua Daigle, 32, were told by neighbours that a snake had been spotted near houses near the pond in their village in Denham Springs, Louisiana on April 19.<br /><br />Joshua said that his girlfriend had experiences with snakes before so they went to the pond and found the diamondback water snake in the bushes.<br /><br />He said: "She has a huge passion for reptiles. She is the brave one so I just assisted her while she rescued the snake."<br /><br />Diamondback water snakes are nonvenomous, and endemic to some parts of the United States and Mexico.
