Elephants enjoy cooling showers as temperatures hit 36C in Thailand. <br /><br />The giant creatures were seen waiting in queues for their turn to enter the massive shower zone in Maesa Elephant Camp, Chiang Mai province on April 23rd.<br /><br />All 78 jumbos normally take a shower two or three times a day, but due to the hot weather, that's been upped to four times per day.<br /> <br />Maesa elephant camp is a popular tourist destination where visitors can get up close to the animals but it is currently closed during the Covid-19 pandemic. <br /><br />They hope to resume their operations when the situation has improved and tourists can return to the country.
