Officers from India's Forestry Department were called to a village in Telangana state to remove a large wild crocodile which had wandered onto a farm. <br /><br />Agricultural workers from Wanaparthy spotted the reptile on April 23rd and, concerned for their safety, called in the experts.<br /><br />Footage showed the rescuers lassoing the snapping crocodile's snout and then pulling it out of a canal close to the farmer's fields.<br /><br />The croc was released soon afterwards in a nearby dam.
