Locals in Kariyamalai, Tamil Nadu, India alerted officials last week after spotting a leopard stuck in wire mesh.<br /><br />Video filmed on April 17 shows forest officials and the leopard stuck in wire mesh. <br /><br />According to reports, forest official had to cut the wire mesh in order to rescue the wild cat.<br /><br />Nobody was injured and locals believe that the leopard was chasing prey when it got stuck in the wire mesh.
