Mike Bloomberg spent over $1 billion on his short-lived presidential campaign.<br />Business Insider reports that's roughly over $23 million for each delegate he won.<br />Bloomberg spent 20% of that money flooding the country with ads.<br />He also treated staffers to perks that rival those at Google.<br />He paid salaries nearly double those at other campaigns.<br />He gave away free meals, booze, iPhone 11s, and furnished apartments on Manhattan's Upper East Side.<br />The former New York City mayor also gave his supporters free food, T-shirts, and buttons at rallies.
