A venomous snake coiled up inside a shoe caused panic among residents of a neighbourhood in the southern Indian state of Karnataka.<br /><br />The incident took place on November 3, 2019, in the outskirts of Tumkur city, as footage showed a rescuer using a snake hook to pull out the reptile.<br /><br />Once out, the man grabbed the snake by its tail while using the hook to move it.<br /><br />The man then placed the snake, identified as a spectacled cobra, near a sack. <br /><br />The snake spotted the opening and slowly slithered inside.<br /><br />According to reports, the snake was discovered by residents of the building, who heard a hissing noise coming from the shoe rack and called the snake rescue service.<br /><br />The snake was later released in its natural habitat.
