A female liger and a male tiger gave birth to three babies for the first time in China.<br /><br />In the video, filmed in a zoo at Zhongshan Park in central China's Hubei Province on April 26, one offspring of the male tiger and the female liger was heard roaring and crawling around in a paper box at the animal nursery.<br /><br />The zookeepers used a milk bottle to feed the animal and cleaned its body.<br /><br />According to reports, the male tiger and the female liger had three babies but two of them died. The keeper then decided to artificially feed the only survivor.<br /><br />The zoo director said: "There are ligers and tigons in China but we did not have ligers giving birth to babies before."
