A tropical storm brought heavy rain and flash floods in Bangkok, Thailand, this afternoon. <br /><br />Thunder and lightning struck the capital at around midday along with strong winds and torrential downpours. The rain caused flash floods on a large numbers of roads as drivers battled through the deluge. <br /><br />Storms have swept through the country over the last two weeks amid the onset of summer and temperatures reaching more then 36c in many places.
