None of the 56 Covid-19 cases related to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) cluster originated from the hospital’s Covid-19 wards or intensive care units (ICUs), says the Health Ministry.<br /><br />Health director-general Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said that at the ministry’s daily Covid-19 press conference Thursday (April 30), adding that most of the healthcare workers who were infected by the virus had gotten it outside the hospital.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Dr Noor Hisham said there are now 18 hospitals in Sarawak that could conduct screenings, compared to five at the start of the outbreak.<br /><br />Four hospitals have been identified as Covid-19 treatment centres - SGH, Miri Hospital, Bintulu Hospital and Sibu Hospital - with 736 beds set aside for Covid-19.<br /><br /><br />Read more at https://bit.ly/2YhW1Vd<br /><br />WATCH MORE: https://thestartv.com/c/news<br />SUBSCRIBE: https://cutt.ly/TheStar<br />LIKE: https://fb.com/TheStarOnline
