New York State governor Andrew Cuomo has become the face of the fight against coronavirus.<br />But, in an essay for Business Insider, Anthony L. Fisher says that Cuomo is a big part of the reason that NY State grew to such devastating proportions.<br />Cuomo admits he wishes he sounded the alarm on the virus earlier.<br />The governor is also placing misplaced blame on the media.<br />He said the media wasn't reporting on the crisis as it unfolded. Fisher points out that Cuomo's media narrative is false.<br />Fisher also chides Cuomo for "petty" fights with NY City Mayor Bill De Blasio.<br />The battle between the two have caused unnecessary confusion as the virus crushed New York.
