A violent house fire broke out on the fourth floor of a building on rue Bonnafous in the 4th arrondissement of Lyon.<br /><br />The fire started at 8 p.m. then spread to the fifth and top floor, then to the roof. <br /><br />More than 60 firefighters came to battle the fire, but the access is very complicated to carry out their intervention. <br /><br />Local residents from four different buildings were evacuated, and two people were taken to the Edouard Herriot hospital, as they were slightly intoxicated. <br /><br />At 11:45 p.m. the fire was still not completely under control. The building ravaged by the flames later collapsed.
