An elderly lady passed away, so her son came to her Manhattan apartment to clear it out. Unfortunately, the man was in for a horrible shock.<br />Police say the man found a decomposed body in his dead mother's freezer.<br />According to Newser, investigators say the body appeared to have been stored for more than 10 years.<br />The body was so decayed that authorities couldn't determine its sex.<br />Building staff say authorities are investigating whether the body may be that of the deceased woman's mother.<br />The building's superintendent says the deceased tenant never allowed workers in her apartment, but that she "seemed like a lovely lady, always very pleasant."
