More than 9,000 person who have tested positive for coronavirus disease, as the Department of Health (DOH) reports 262 new cases in the country on May 4, Monday.<br /><br />Based on the latest case bulletin, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines now stands at 9,485.<br /><br />Sixteen additional deaths have also been reported among COVID-19 patients, bringing the total to 623.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the number of recoveries has climbed to 1,315, after 101 more patients have been marked free from the dreaded disease.
