S. Korea's first couple 'virtually' invites children to top office

I am even more pleased to get together with many more of you online this year.<br />I hope this video gives strength to all the children who are staying home.<br /><br /> I'm so proud of you for enduring this situation.<br /><br /> Thank you for helping us overcome COVID-19 together.<br /><br /> I love you all.<br /><br /> In the video, the first couple gave the kids a tour of the presidential office and showed them a daily COVID-19 press briefing by the KCDC.<br />Moon thanked the children for their patience in overcoming the COVID-19 outbreak and expressed regret that they aren't able to go to school yet.<br />He also asked children to remember that adults are also doing their best to fight the virus.<br />The First Lady stressed the importance of hand washing and wearing masks. <br /><br /> Separately, on social media,... President Moon noted that it's the one-hundredth day since the creation of the Central Disaster Management Headquarters.<br />He said it's all thanks to the staff there that South Korea is now able to relax its social distancing measures starting Wednesday.<br />He said that he is thinking about their hard work on this Children's Day -- and asked for their continued efforts until the end of the outbreak. <br />
