The Department of Health (DOH) said that COVID-19 cases in the country reached more than 9,684 on Tuesday after 199 more individuals have contracted the coronavirus disease.<br /><br />In terms of the new cases, 173 cases were recorded in the National Capital Region while the remaining 26 were from other different regions.<br /><br />The DOH also reported that an additional 93 patients have survived COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,408.<br /><br />Meanwhile, 14 more patients died, causing the death toll to rise to 637.
