In this video I'm going to show you<br /><br /><br />how you can connect your laptop HardDisk with your Desktop PC<br /><br /><br />My laptop is dead, so I need to transfer the data to my new hard drive<br /><br />Nowadays most of the PCs support SATA power cable <br /><br /><br />and SATA ports, so if your PC supports<br /><br />SATA ports, it must come with SATA power cable<br /><br /><br />Here is my SATA power cable, see my new hard drive<br /><br /> is also connected with a SATA power cable and with SATA ports.<br /><br />Here I am connecting the SATA power<br /><br /><br />cable with my hard drive<br /><br /><br />Match the groove in the power cable with<br /><br /><br />the hard disk while conecting it<br /><br />Now it's connected. Now we need the SATA data cable<br /><br />to connect it with the mother board<br /><br />Here you can see my motherboard has 3 extra<br /><br />SATA ports and these cables are <br /><br /><br />provided with the motherboard, so in my MB<br /><br /><br />I got two SATA cables, you can also buy<br /><br />it seperately<br /><br />Two cables are actually, one for the HDD <br /><br /><br />and one for the DVD ROM, I don't have DVD in my system<br /><br /><br />But if you have DVD ROM, you can <br /><br /><br />open the cables and connect it with your HDD<br /><br />I'm going to use this permanently with this computer<br /><br /><br />So here I have connected the cable and right now I am going to screw it :) with the casing<br /><br /><br />with the casing<br /><br />Here you can see, in the casing there are <br /><br /><br />exact port for laptop Hard drive<br /><br /><br />Actually this is the prot for <br /><br />your SSD<br /><br />SSD and Laptop HDD are similar in size<br /><br />so, here I'm screwing the laptop hard disk<br /><br />As I don't have any SSD right now, I can use this space<br /><br />for my laptop hard drive<br /><br />So, this way you can connect your Laptop Hard Drive with your computer<br /><br />Here after turnign on the PC, you can see<br /><br />in my computer I can see all the drives available <br /><br />in my two hard drives. And now I am accessing<br /><br />the data from my Laptop's hard drive.<br /><br />So, thats it. I hope you find this video helpful.
