Joe Biden survived a divisive primary to emerge the Democratic nominee.<br />Now, his job is to unite the party behind him.<br />That job got a lot harder after accusations of sex assault were leveled at Biden by a former senate staffer.<br />Biden went on MSNBC and denied the allegations.<br />A new Politico/Morning Consult poll spells bad news for Biden.<br />The poll found 28 percent of Democrats “definitely” or “probably” favor replacing Biden with another nominee.<br />“The Democratic Party faces a real crisis of conscience,” said Camille Rivera, a Democratic strategist with a progressive firm in New York.<br />Nearly a third of all voters, 32 percent, said the allegations made them less likely to vote for Biden.<br />That's including 20 percent of Democratic voters.<br />22 percent of Democratic women said the allegations made them less likely to vote for Biden.
