It is also known as yachting capital because it has a largest port in the Europe named as Port Vauban.<br />Antibes is a 16th century walled old town. It was an important historic trading post which was founded by the Greeks in the 5th century B.C. and initially it was known as ANTIPOLIS.<br /><br />How to reach ANTIBES from NICE:<br />From Nice you can take bus no. 200 for Antibes. The ticket will cost you 1.50 euros.
