Remdesivir, a potential coronavirus medication was approved by the FDA last week.<br />The emergency approval was ushered in due to the dire circumstances surrounding the coronavirus pandemic.<br />Now, some hospitals are struggling to find the drug for their patients.<br />According to Business Insider, the US government is deciding which hospitals get the drug and which don't.<br />The government is also controlling how much medication a hospital can get.<br />Doctors across the country are saying that severely ill patients who should qualify for treatment aren't getting it.<br />In some cases, hospitals aren't able to give the medication to patients outside the confines of clinical trials.
