On this day 15 years ago, Maccabi Tel Aviv successfully defended its EuroLeague title by defeating Tau Ceramica Vitoria-Gasteiz in the championship game in Moscow. In doing so, Maccabi became the first team to win back-to-back championships since Split's famous three-peat in 1991.<br /><br />
