tada drashtuh svarupe avasthanam<br />If we bifurcate the sutra.<br />tada means then, at that time; or at the time of concentration and at the time of meditation <br />drashtuh means the seer's, of the soul, to witness, Atman, Self; from the root drsh, which means to see <br />the word svarupe = (sva means own; rupa means form) svarupe means in its own nature, own form or essence; <br />avasthanam means stability, settling, remaining, being in a state, resting, standing, lying, abiding; the root stha means to stand<br />As soon as the waves have stopped, and the lake has become quiet, we see the ground below the lake.
