A brown bug with rough-looking spikes confused a monk in Thailand when he spotted it resting in his hut.<br /><br />Phra Jakub saw the curious-looking insect staring back at him when it landed on his balcony at the temple in Bangkok on May 3rd.<br /><br />The insect was later identified as Aristobia horridula, which belongs to the beetle family. <br /><br />They are usually found across Asia especially in Myanmar, Laos, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Thailand.
