Cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the Philippines rose to a total of 11,086, after 292 new cases were confirmed on May 11, Monday, with 75 more recoveries and seven additional fatalities, the Department of Health said.<br /><br />A total of 1,999 patients have already recovered from the disease, while 726 have succumbed to it, as of May 11.<br /><br />Of the reported new cases, 162 were recored from the National Capital Region, 74 from Central Visayas, while the remaining 56 new cases were from other parts of the country.
