코로나발 충격에 4월 실업급여 1조원…월 기준 역대 최대<br /><br />A record number of South Koreans filed for unemployment benefits last month.<br />According to Seoul's labor ministry Monday, unemployment benefits paid in April rose to an all-time monthly high of about 815 million U.S. dollars.<br />That's an increase of around 35 percent compared to the same period last year.<br />The number of new applicants was up 33 percent to a total of 651-thousand.<br />
