Carnival Cruise August Bookings <br />Soar Despite COVID-19 According to TMZ, a Cruise Planners <br />representative says cruise bookings have <br />dramatically increased since Carnival announced <br />its plans to resume some cruises in August. Carnival's bookings reportedly <br />went up by 600% three days <br />after the announcement. There are also currently 200% more <br />bookings than this time last year. According to TMZ, most of the bookings are <br />being made by young healthy people who are <br />feeling stir crazy after nationwide lockdowns. They are seemingly <br />"not a bit concerned about <br />traveling at this time." Though Carnival intends to <br />hit the open waters by August, <br />things could always change.
