This is the moment that a dangerous driver lost control of a stolen car and ploughed into a roundabout – sending the vehicle airborne.<br />Grant Hunter, 42, got behind the wheel despite having no licence or insurance and was spotted driving on Mill Lane in Hebburn on the evening of September 11 last year.<br />But when officers instructed him to pull over, Hunter instead hit the accelerator – tearing down residential streets in South Tyneside at excessive speed.<br />With police following closely behind, Hunter approached a roundabout in Jarrow but lost control, causing the car to flip in the air and come to an abrupt stop.<br />Hunter subsequently arrested and jailed. <br />Video by Northumbria Police.
