한미일 안보회의 개최…"3자 안보협력 중요성 재확인"<br /><br />Senior defense officials from South Korea, the U.S. and Japan held a virtual conference Wednesday for discussions on collaborating for a response to COVID-19 as well as the nuclear and missile threats posed by North Korea.<br />The 12th Defense Trilateral Talks, initially scheduled to take place in Japan, were held online due to the pandemic.<br />Seoul's Deputy Defense Minister Chung Suk-hwan and his U.S. and Japanese counterparts reaffirmed the importance of trilateral cooperation in upholding security... during the annual security talks.<br />They agreed to hold another virtual meeting at a later, but as yet, unspecified date.<br />
