렘데시비르 빗장풀린다…길리어드, 북한 등 127국에 복제약 허용<br /><br />American biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences has inked a deal with Indian and Pakistani generics drugmakers to manufacture and distribute the potential COVID-19 treatment remdesivir in 127 countries.<br />Five drug manufacturers will make remdesivir primarily for distribution in low-income countries as well as several other countries that face healthcare obstacles amid the coronavirus pandemic.<br />Countries that will be able to receive the drugs include North Korea, Afghanistan and South Africa.<br />The deal will be royalty-free until the WHO says the outbreak is no longer a global health crisis or until a pharmaceutical product other than remdesivir is proven effective at treating or preventing COVID-19.<br />
