Amazon Launches <br />New $90 Fire Tablet The e-commerce giant announced <br />two new Fire tablet models that will <br />range from $89.99 to $109.99. The entry-level model, the Fire HD 8, <br />will come with a faster processor than <br />before and 32 GB of storage. The upgraded model, the <br />Fire HD Plus, has more RAM <br />and comes with a six-month <br />subscription to Kindle Unlimited. The new models come as much <br />of the world’s population remains <br />on lockdown to prevent the <br />spread of the coronavirus. Amazon's strategy is to sell the tablets <br />for a lower price and then make money off of consumers <br />buying digital content from its website while stuck at home. The new Fire tablets will <br />begin shipping on June 3.
