Jam Biscuits<br /><br />Servings - 2 - 3<br /><br />INGREDIENTS<br />Butter - 100 grams<br />Powdered sugar - 70 grams<br />Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon<br />Cold water - 60 milliliters<br />All purpose flour - 200 grams<br />Salt - 1/4 teaspoon<br />Baking powder - 1/4 teaspoon<br />Mix fruit jam<br /><br /><br />PREPARATION<br />1. In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams butter, 70 grams powdered sugar and mix it well.<br />2. Now, add 1 teaspoon vanilla essence, 60 milliliters cold water and mix it again.<br />3. Then, add 200 grams all purpose flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon baking powder and knead it into a smooth dough.<br />4. Refrigerate for 10 - 15 minutes.<br />5. Now, Make a chapati like shape and cut into any shape with the help of a biscuit cutter. Stamp out a smaller circle from the middles of half the biscuits. (See video)<br />6. Put the biscuits on baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 320°F/160°C. Bake for 10 - 12 minutes or until the top is golden brown.<br />7. When completely cold, spread the round corners of biscuits with mix fruit jam with help of icing cone.<br />8. Put ring-shaped biscuits on top of a jam-covered biscuit and press lightly together.<br />9. Dust the ring-shaped biscuits with powdered sugar. <br />10. Fill the top middle part of biscuits with thin layer of mix fruit jam.<br />11. Serve.<br /><br />
