New Delhi faced unpleasant weather conditions where the maximum temperature was recorded at 42 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. Heatwave conditions continued to sweep several parts of the country with Rajasthan’s Phalodi recording the maximum temperature of 46.5 degrees Celsius.
