Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday formally charged Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas, Metro Manila police chief, for allegedly violating guidelines under the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).<br /><br />BGen. Bernard Banac, PNP spokesman, said the Intelligence Group (IG) and the Internal Affairs Service (IAS) filed the case before the Taguig City Prosecutors Office at about 4 p.m.<br /><br />The criminal and administrative charges were filed against Sinas and other police officials who attended a birthday party for the Metro Manila police chief last week despite the lockdown.<br /><br />Video by: Gerard Seguia
