A World War II naval mine was successfully detonated at sea with the help of local police and experts.<br /><br />The spectacular video, shot in the city of Zhangzhou in Fujian Province on May 13, shows a diver diving into the sea to attach 1.5-ton emulsion explosives onto the 50-centimetre-diametre and 490-kilogram mine.<br /><br />According to reports, the naval mine remained from the Second Sino-Japanese War, which is around 80 years ago.<br /><br />The detonation of the naval mine cleared the dangerous obstacle for marine navigation.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
