외교부, 독도 영유권 주장 日외교청서에 소마공사 초치... "강력 항의"<br /><br />Seoul's foreign ministry lodged strong protest against Tokyo's false claims over South Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo known as Takeshima in Japan.<br />The ministry summoned Japan's number two envoy to South Korea, Hirohisa Soma and urged Tokyo to immediately withdraw such claims.<br />In its diplomatic bluebook released Tuesday, Japan makes false claims that Dokdo is Japanese territory illegally occupied by South Korea.<br />Seoul reiterated that Dokdo is historically, geographically and by international law South Korean territory and that Tokyo's claims cannot affect Seoul's sovereignty over Dokdo.<br />
