A policeman jumped over a glass railing to stop an escalator at a train station after an elderly woman fell down on it in eastern China.<br /><br />The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Hefei in Anhui Province on May 17, shows an old woman suddenly falling backwards onto an escalator at Yalinchong Metro Station.<br /><br />A policeman noticing the incident jumped over the glass railing immediately to stop the escalator in just five seconds.<br /><br />Fortunately, the old woman was not injured seriously.<br /><br />The video was provided by local media with permission.
