A paramedic checked the temperature of a man stuck in muddy water before rescuing him from the situation.<br /><br />The rescuer team clambered into the muddy passage to help the unlucky man who had been stuck in mud for five hours in Bangkok, Thailand.<br /><br />However, due to the high levels of caution around the COVID-19 pandemic, the rescuer checked the hapless man's temperature before begin helping him.<br /><br />Onlooker Tianchai Banjongkasena said the man jumped into the drain in a bizarre incident but could not climb back out.<br /><br />He said: "I remember seeing him walking along the canal then he saw a labourer walking toward him. He was startled and jumped into the canal.<br /><br />"I thought he could climb up by himself because when the incident happened the water level was high.<br /><br />"But then after several hours I called the rescue team because I him again passed out at the bottom of the water passage after the water level has decreased.<br /><br />The man was rescued from the drain and was sent to the hospital to have him check up again since he has been in the mud for long time.
