Results also show it is becoming increasingly likely that <br />tropical storms transform into major hurricanes. Last year was considered a normal season<br />but the term "normal" for hurricanes <br />is becoming more extreme. 2019 saw the emergence of Hurricane Dorian, <br />a category five storm and Humberto, a category three. NOAA is expected to reveal its analysis <br />for this year on May 21, shortly before <br />June 1 when the season starts up.
