On Monday, the father of a woman who alleged she was raped by a BJP MLA and his accomplices passed away in police custody, reported ANI. <br /><br />He was arrested on Sunday. His daughter and her family had tried to commit suicide outside UP CM Yogi Adityanath’s residence in Lucknow. <br /><br />However, the relatives alleged that he was murdered in the jail by Kuldeep Singh Sengar, the BJP MLA from Unnao named as accused by the rape victim. <br /><br />DIG Law and Order said that a magisterial inquiry will be conducted, and action will be taken against the police is any lapses were found.
