As the North Indians gear up to celebrate the festival of colors Holi, Uttar Pradesh Police has seized adulterated Mawa from Old Sabji Mandi area of Ghaziabad.<br />However, the shopkeepers involved in the act could not be arrested but the Police has recovered chemicals used in the preparation of adulterated Mawa.<br />The demand for Mawa and Paneer is high in wake of Holi festival. Seeing the high demand, some people use chemicals including urea to produce cheap but highly harmful Mawa.
