"북한, 외국인 코로나19 제한 추가 완화…백화점 등 방문 허용"<br /><br />North Korea has eased the restrictions it put on foreigners in the North amid the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />The Russian Ambassador to North Korea wrote on his Facebook account that embassies and international organizations received a diplomatic note saying all foreigners are now allowed to visit department stores, which had been off limit.<br />In April, the regime lowered its restrictions on foreigners visiting stores, restaurants and traditional markets.<br />The Russian embassy in North Korea also said the North's measures had been effective.<br /><br />
