Johnson & Johnson announced on Tuesday they will stop selling their popular talc Baby Powder. <br /><br />According to Reuters, the decision will affect only the United States and Canadian markets. <br /><br />J&J says demand has waned in the wake of what they called "misinformation" about the safety of the product.<br /><br />The company has faced scrutiny since a 2018 report showed they knew for decades that asbestos lurked in their talc.<br /><br />J&J faces more than 19,000 lawsuits from consumers and their survivors claiming its talc products caused cancer.<br /><br />Many of the cases are pending before a U.S. district judge in New Jersey.
