박근혜 파기환송심서 징역 35년 구형…"법치주의 보여달라"<br /><br />South Korean prosecutors are demanding a 35 year jail sentence for the country's disgraced former president Park Geun-hye in her retrial for bribery, abuse of power and embezzlement charges.<br />During a hearing at the Seoul High Court Wednesday, the prosecution asked the judge to sentence Park to 35-years behind bars and fine her 2.7 million U.S. dollars.<br />It added that despite her illegal acts, Park has shown no sign of remorse and it called on the court to demonstrate the rule of law.<br />The 68-year-old was impeached by lawmakers in late 2016 and kicked out of office the following year.<br />She's currently serving a 32 year jail sentence for bribery, abuse of power, election law violations and other charges.<br />
